Pontoon Putt – on the beautiful, wildlife & scenic-rich St. Johns River

Newsletter 133

Join me at one of my very favorite wildlife & nature spots in all the world! The dates for this adventure are November 16th, afternoon check-in, through checkout time on November 20th, with full afternoon ‘putt-putt’!

This area of the St. Johns River is loaded with all sorts of photographable (or just viewing) wildlife and scenics with any size camera… point & shoots, to the big lenses & fancy SLRs mounted on tripods. This tour is designed for almost everyone—even for most any physically-challenged individual, as you just sit comfortably with camera in-hand as I guide my boat into positions enabling you to create great images. Or, perhaps, you or your spouse/friend would rather sit back and just enjoy first-hand all the nature that surrounds you without shooting pictures. We welcome you all. Our lodging & boat will be in the town of Deland at a marina about an hour from Orlando airport (shuttles available). Deland is about a 3½ hour drive North of Ft. Lauderdale. For those of you that live in the area and would like to take advantage of a single day “putt” or just the four day-putts with no dinner or lodging, you are most welcome and I will work out the details separately. Please let me know soon as space is limited.

The total package includes deliciously catered dinners, usually served on our screened-in patio overlooking the river with hummingbirds, hawks, eagles, deer, and manatee, etc. to entertain us. A boxed lunch and water is included.  Snacks, wine, sodas, coffee & breakfasts etc. is up to you, but usually can be purchased in the ship’s store right next door. In the evening, if time allows, I will give a slide presentation, or we often sit around sharing images and ‘war stories’. Trust me when I say our accommodations are above adequate, as for those of you who know me, know I love my ‘creature comforts’— especially after a full day of exploring and ‘playing with the wildlife’!! The total package for the full tour is $1,450.00 with a $500.00 deposit due immediately and the balance due by October 22nd. Just for the record, I can make all the necessary arrangements for your own private party or group  (a minimum of four people is necessary).

Happy shooting & viewing!!!
